Stopped in Guitar Center as I always do, since it's next door to Music & Arts where I teach every Thursday. Saw the rack of clearance guitars and was like "What's THIS?" Holy smokes...an Ibanez RG450EXB in shell pink for under $200?! And..get this...MATCHING HEADSTOCK! Oh this had to come home with me!!
I know, "But it only has six strings." I don't care!! This guitar SCREAMS, whether I play clean tone or distorted. The stock pickups remind me of DiMarzios and WOW! I can't believe this guitar is in my possession. Yes I hope to find a 7-string in a funky colour on clearance (I got lucky last June with the blue 7-string) but this guitar...feast your eyes on the pic...
